Every year we hold various fundraisers to support our crusade against darkness.
Power Bingo
Play bingo and support great causes! Power Bingo benefits the San Antonio Founder Lions Club and four local nonprofit organizations:
- St. Paul’s Catholic Church
- Frank Casseb Youth Literacy Club
- Students in Christ’s Youth Center
- VFW Post 7108
Funds raised also help the San Antonio Founder Lions Club support charitable organizations and programs throughout Texas, including free eye exams and glasses for children and adults in need, the San Antonio Lighthouse for the Blind, Texas Lions Camp, Owl Radio, the San Antonio Food Bank, the San Antonio Zoo, Christian Assistance Ministry, Meals on Wheels, and many more.

The Big Give
The Big Give is a 24-hour online giving event that connects generous donors with nonprofit organizations throughout South Central Texas. The 2026 Big Give will take place from 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 23, through 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 24. Early giving begins September 16. Make a donation to support the programs and organizations we serve throughout our community.
Poinsettia Sale
Add a little holiday cheer to your home or office while supporting the San Antonio Founder Lions Club! Our annual poinsettia sale will take place in November, with the exact sale dates to be announced.
Poinsettias will typically be available for pickup during the first week of December at the IBC Bank—just in time to enjoy them throughout the Christmas season.
Purse Bingo
You’re invited you to our signature fundraiser: Designer Purse Bingo! Enjoy a delicious breakfast, ten exciting rounds of bingo, and the chance to win authentic designer purses, plus raffle prizes throughout the event. Individual tickets include breakfast and a bingo card for all ten games. Reserved tables seat eight guests and include a bottle of champagne.
Best of all, your participation make a difference. Every dollar raised supports our vision mission, helping people in need access eye exams, eyeglasses, and vision screenings in our community. Together, we’re helping neighbors see more clearly and building a stronger community.

Champions fore Charities
Support the San Antonio Founder Lions Club through the Valero Texas Open’s Champions fore Charity program. Donors can visit the online giving portal, search for the San Antonio Founder Lions Club, and make a donation directly to our organization.
One hundred percent of the funds donated through the program are returned to participating organizations, with additional incentives that may include a 7% match. Campaign dates will be announced when confirmed.
Fiesta Parades
Tickets will go on sale in the middle of February.
Celebrate Fiesta while giving back to the San Antonio community! Each April, the San Antonio Founder Lions Club offers reserved seating for the Battle of Flowers Parade and the Fiesta Flambeau Parade.
Ticket prices are established by the Fiesta San Antonio Commission and will be announced when tickets become available. Purchasing your parade seats through the San Antonio Founder Lions Club is a fun and easy way to enjoy two of San Antonio’s most beloved traditions while supporting our community service efforts.
