HENRY SIMMS DAY!

In what proved to be the largest turnout of the year, Lions and friends from all over the district turned out for the celebration of the Club's History and it's Historian, Lion Henry Simms who just happened to be celebrating his 92d Birthday.....>Who knew!
In Grateful Appreciation, Lion Henry was all smiles as he accepted a cake and cards and letters from all over the country wishing him well and thanking him for his years of service.
Lion George Harvey, Chair of the Wisdom Group (we're not sure that's a smart thing!) presents Lion Henry Simms with a proclamation celebrating his 92d Brithday and recognizing and thanking him for all that he has done as the Club's Historian.
Lion Henry presenting the club with a special $92.00 gift, in a special display as is the tradition of Lion Henry.
Lion Myra Fischer, whom we believe to be the first female to become a member of a Lions international Club, speaks in tribute to Lion Henry Simms.
The family of Lion Henry Simms, joined by Lion Roland Keller, were all on hand to proudly share this special day.
