The FOUNDER LIONS CLUB OF SAN ANTONIO

is the World’s oldest Lions Club. Now 97 years young, It's roll of members reads like a Who’s Who of San Antonio and Lionism. Chartered in 1915 as the “Royal Order of Lions”, the San Antonio Founder Lions Club served initially as a “Business men’s club.” Then, in 1917 it became one of 23 clubs, from Illinois to Texas, to join the nucleus of what we know of today as Lions International. That organization now consists of 1.3 million Lions in 200 countries – as such, we are the world’s largest service organization. Most of you have known a Lion...Ask us about becoming one.
